TWT Products supports you with the requirements for invoices in Germany.
What every line must state
Among other things, an invoice must state the quantity and kind of the goods or services, the net amount and the tax rate (§ 14 (4) UStG). A line picked from the catalogue brings its name, unit, price and tax rate with it.
E-invoice receipt
Since 2025 every business in Germany must be able to receive e-invoices. XRechnung and ZUGFeRD arrive in your inbox, checked against EN 16931.
Unchangeable once issued
An issued invoice is numbered without gaps and locked, as the GoBD require. A correction is a cancellation invoice with reference to the original, never a deletion.
Retention
Invoices must be kept for eight years since 2025 (§ 14b UStG, § 147 AO). An issued invoice keeps its lines as they were written, even when you change an item's price or delete the item later.
TWT Products provides functions for proper invoices and records. The tax obligations of your business remain yours; when in doubt, ask your tax adviser.

Incoming invoices The obligation that already applies
Being able to receive e-invoices has been obligatory for every German business since January 2025 — issuing them only from 2027. It is also the side the market handles worst. Here every arriving invoice is read, checked and approved before anybody pays it.

Frequently asked questions
Can I buy the catalogue on its own?
Yes. TWT Products is a package of its own: the catalogue with its stock, invoices and e-invoices, supplier invoices and the receipt scanner. The button on this page starts it. The catalogue is also part of TWT Business and TWT One.
How does an item get into an invoice?
In an invoice line you choose the catalogue as the source and pick the item: its unit, price and tax rate come along. Quantity and price can still be changed in the line, and a one-off line can sit right beside it. The app picks from the same catalogue.
Do catalogue items work in e-invoices?
Yes. Every line of an XRechnung or ZUGFeRD invoice carries its own tax rate, and the unit is written as its standard code: hours as HUR, metres as MTR, pieces as C62.
What happens to issued invoices when I change a price?
Nothing. An invoice line keeps the price, unit and tax rate it was written with. The new price applies to the next line you pick, and an issued invoice stays as it was issued, even if you delete the item later.
Can I bring in my existing catalogue?
Yes. Import products and services from a CSV file, as sevdesk, Lexware Office or Excel export them. The columns are matched by themselves, a dry run shows the result first, and the import takes everything or nothing.
Can I decide who may change prices?
Yes. Products and services each have their own rights to list, create, edit and delete, and every person starts with the rights of their role. On top, you grant or withhold single rights for one person: someone may add products and still not edit the agreed service rates.
Does the catalogue keep stock?
Yes, for the articles you switch it on for: a quantity on hand with a minimum level and a storage location, every change as a movement with date, quantity and reason — goods received, sold from the invoice, returned, corrected — and an inventory count that sets the stock to what was counted. One stock per article, no warehouses, no valuation.
Can I test it before I pay?
